Role: Mainframe Developer

Location: Dallas, TX (Onsite) Job Type: Contract

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with a strong background in COBOL, DB2, and JCL. The ideal candidate must have previous experience working with Verizon and be comfortable working onsite in Dallas, TX.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of experience in Mainframe development
  • Strong hands-on experience with COBOL, DB2, and JCL
  • Experience with CICS, VSAM, and IBM Mainframe environments
  • Expertise in Mainframe application development, maintenance, and production support
  • Strong SQL and DB2 programming skills
  • Experience in batch processing and job scheduling
  • Ability to analyze, debug, and resolve production issues
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Mandatory Requirement

  • Previous Verizon project experience is required.

Responsibilities
