Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer to join our team in Jersey City, NJ. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in IBM Mainframe technologies, including COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and z/OS, along with experience supporting and enhancing mission-critical banking applications. Mainframe developers typically design, develop, maintain, and support enterprise applications running on IBM mainframes using technologies such as COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe applications.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop and support batch and online applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.
  • Create and modify JCLs for batch processing and job scheduling.
  • Perform code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Work closely with Business Analysts, QA teams, and infrastructure teams.
  • Participate in system integration, data conversion, and migration activities.
  • Prepare technical documentation and support production deployments.
