Job Description

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IBM DataCap administration and structured development methodology 
  • Experience with MS Server 2008 2012 
  • Experience with Windows 7-10 
  • Experience Windows Active Directory 
  • Experience with SQLServer 2008, 2012, 2014 
  • Preferable experience in IBM Rational toolset, including, but not limited to Clear Case and Clear Quest 
  • Computer Science or Business degree or equivalent working experience 
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills - works well with diverse teams and independently 
  • Self-starter with excellent organization, planning, detail oriented documentation and time management skills 
  • Experienced with the full project lifecycle from conception to implementation and support including batch and interactive design 
  • Experience with 24/7 problem solving in an existing, complex environment including monitoring disk, CPU and network performance anomalies and the ability to act immediately upon system and/or network performance alarms 
  • Experienced with the use of capacity plans to plan for future growth within the boundaries of the current design 
  • Demonstrated experience in configuration management 
  • Knowledge of VMware, physical server configuration, and network configurations 
  • Multi-platform and multi-system integration experience
