Job description

Title: Senior IAM Engineer (SailPoint/Okta)

Duration: 12 Months (3 Years Extension)

Location: Austin, Texas 78751. The working position is Hybrid - On Site and Telework. Position will be 3 days remote with 2 days (Tuesdays and Thursdays) required to be onsite at the location listed above.

Project Summary:

The Client has issued a request for a IAM Engineer (SailPoint/Okta) to research, design, implement, and manage software programs. This IAM Engineer will test and evaluate new programs working closely with other teammates. The candidate for this position should have significant experience working on large IT projects (SailPoint IIQ and SSO with OKTA and Azure).

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Working with IAM software programs such as SailPoint, Okta, and Azure.
  • Working closely with developers, designers, business and systems analysts.

Minimum Candidate Characteristics:

  • 6 years of experience with Solution delivery (Agile or Scrum methodology)
  • 4 years of experience in SailPoint development (workflows, rules, connectors, and policies)
  • Experience with Okta SSO Integration
  • Experienced in collaborating with multiple teams on SailPoint IdentityIQ deployment plans.
  • Experienced in API services to handle policies and access requests to integrate external applications

Exceptional Candidate Characteristics:

  • Experience with TX State agency
  • Healthcare industry experience

Researching, designing, implementing and managing software programs. Testing and evaluating new programs. Working closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts.

The candidate for this position should have significant experience working on large IT projects, particularly in application integrations with SailPoint IIQ and single sign-on with OKTA and Azure. The candidate should be self-motivated and able to work under limited supervision.

Required Skills:

  • 6 years of Required Solution delivery utilizing Agile or Scrum methodology.
  • 6 years of Required Ability to collaborate with the Architects, Service Delivery Manager, Project Managers, and others relative to the SailPoint Identity IQ deployment plans.
  • 4 years of Required Experience in SailPoint development (workflows, rules, connectors, policies, and other configurations).
  • 4 years of Required Experience with Okta single sign-on Integration
  • 4 years of Required Ability to collaborate with the Architects, Service Delivery Manager, Project Managers, and others relative to the SailPoint Identity IQ deployment plans.
  • 4 years of Required Develop API services to handle access policies and access requests and integrate with external applications.
  • 2 years of Preferred Experience working with Texas State Agency's
