Who We Are
Tomorrow's most advanced automotive technology is being envisioned today at MOBIS Parts America (MPA). A subsidiary of Hyundai MOBIS, we are a top leading automotive parts supplier. MPA provides after-sales service parts support for Hyundai Motors, Kia Motors, and Genesis. In addition to the distribution of genuine service parts, the MPA Accessories division develops accessories for Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis - which are installed on new vehicles in the United States and Canada.
Description
The Quality Engineer is responsible for interfacing with thecustomer and performing initial root cause analysis of issues within thewarehouse.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
  • Respond to customers about Quality issues.
  • Maintain customer Quality score management and response.
  • Create meeting materials for Customer and lead internal meetings.
  • Conduct initial analysis of customer Quality suspect parts (INLINE / FIELD).
  • Lead/support deep analysis with related teams (Plant, Engineering & HQ).
  • Provide Quality case management (internal/external systems).
  • Return material & cost handling, if it's related Quality.
  • Initiate and manage Quality inspection activity if needed.
  • Participate new program development, as a local quality engineer.
  • Respond to customers regarding Q issue & Cowork with HQ / MMX and other plants.
  • Maintain Green scorecards to all related OEM's.
  • Create/Maintain professional relationship with Customer.

WORK SCHEDULE & TRAVEL
  • A typical work week is M-F, 40 hours/week.
  • Travel within the US, Mexico, and Asia as needed

Required Qualifications
EXPERIENCE
  • 1+ year of Quality experience in automotive industry required.
  • Experience in root cause analysis of quality issues (8D, 5Y, Ishikawa).

EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's Degree is required.

Employment Type - Non-Exempt, Hourly Wage
Compensation - The expected hiring range for this position is $47,457.63 - 70,237.29, depending on experience and qualifications.
