Looking for a senior level direct hire resource that has hands on HFM experience that can be a lead resource as well as rolling up sleeve and getting in the weeds. Looking for candidates with long term stable job history.


  • Evaluate, coordinate, and implement new techniques, processes, and technologies that meet the corporation's strategic goals.
  • Communicate with peers, users, and 3rd party vendors about new processes and recommendations.
  • Act as a business / technical consultant to other partners.
  • Support other related duties as required or assigned.
  • Evaluate and make recommendations on techniques, practices, or technologies that would enhance business needs.
  • Translate business needs into sound application solutions. Work closely with business users to determine the appropriate solution to client requests for change.
  • Support ongoing process definition, design, and enhancement work (including requirements definition, mapping, and gap analysis).
  • Provide technical guidance and explain advanced concepts to others using audience appropriate language.
  • Develop new and maintain existing Hyperion Financial Management, Planning, and Essbase applications.
  • Produce detailed application designs to meet user requirements and development standards.
  • Work with other development team members to facilitate successful solution deployments.
  • Support production processing and activities.
  • Maintain technical documentation and proper change control procedures.
  • Ensure continuous process improvements.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years in technical and development experience across Hyperion suite.
  • Advanced knowledge in recent versions of Hyperion Financial Management, Planning, and Essbase; experienced in use of FDM / FDMEE.
  • Bachelor's degree in an IT related discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail oriented team player.
  • Goal oriented with high standards for quality and performance.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills applied to Hyperion Application Support.
  • Background in finance and accounting preferred.
  • Advanced computer skills to include Microsoft Office suite.

Hyperion Planning/HFM Nice to Have Skills

  • Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server a strong plus.
  • Experience with Lawson Financials / General Ledger a strong plus.
