Overview

Palms Dental Care is looking for an energetic, personable, and experienced Scheduling & Treatment Coordinator to join our team!For us, personality matters just as much as experience. We are looking for someone who is genuinely friendly, positive, confident, and enjoys connecting with patients. The right person should be a team player who brings great energy to the office, communicates well, and takes pride in creating an exceptional patient experience.This is not simply a front-desk position. Our Scheduling & Treatment Coordinator plays an important role in helping patients understand their treatment, insurance benefits, financial responsibilities, and next steps while keeping our providers' schedules productive and organized.

Compensation: $23-$27 an hour, based on dental experience and qualifications

Schedule

  • Full-time
  • Monday through Thursday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
  • Fridays, 8:30 am - 1:00 pm

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments
  • Maintaining productive doctor and hygiene schedules

  • Following up with patients regarding unscheduled treatment
  • Answering phones and providing excellent customer service

  • Accurately documenting patient communication and maintaining records in Dentrix

Qualifications

  • Dental front-office experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with Dentrix
  • Strong knowledge of PPO dental insurance benefits
  • Experience in presenting and reviewing dental treatment plans
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Comfortable discussing treatment costs and financial arrangements
