Job description

We are seeking an Assisted Dental Hygienist that shares our passion for patient care and education, and who thrives in a fast-paced, team-based care model. This role works in a dual-provider hygiene model alongside a dedicated hygiene assistant to increase access to care, improve efficiency, and elevate patient experience.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive periodontal care in accordance with all state dental board requirements
  • Partner with a dedicated hygiene assistant to delegate non-clinical and preparatory tasks, maximizing chairside efficiency and patient access
  • Maintain an efficient schedule that supports increased patient volume without compromising quality of care
  • Educate patients on periodontal health, disease prevention, and the connection between oral health and overall systemic health
  • Collaborate with the Dentist and care team on periodontal charting, treatment planning, and follow-up to support optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications
  • Dental hygiene licensure compliant with the State Dental Board with no adverse actions
  • Experience working in a fast-paced or assisted/expanded hygiene model preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication skills with both patients and team members
  • Ability to lead chairside care while working collaboratively with a hygiene assistant
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products and dental software; experience with Dentrix preferred
  • Commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality, patient-centered hygiene care
