Join a premier science and engineering consulting firm to lead high-profile water resource, industrial permitting, and environmental remediation projects. In this role, you will direct the technical execution of complex hydrogeological investigations and regional groundwater characterizations across diverse geologic environments. You will collaborate with project managers to define technical approaches, manage project portfolios, and mentor a talented team of scientists and engineers in a flexible, hybrid-friendly environment.

  • Lead the technical strategy and execution for complex hydrogeological investigations, groundwater modeling, and regional site characterizations.
  • Develop innovative technical approaches for numerical analysis of groundwater and surface water systems to support environmental permitting and site remediation.
  • Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and regulatory commitments for large-scale, multi-disciplinary environmental engineering initiatives.
  • Consult with project managers and clients to estimate project costs, define engineering frameworks, and deliver expert technical consultation.
  • Execute regional hydrologic characterizations in challenging geological environments, including unconsolidated deposits and fractured crystalline rock.
  • Provide expert witness testimony at environmental hearings, representing client interests and technical findings with regulatory bodies.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineering and scientific staff, serving as the primary corporate technical resource for advanced hydrogeology.
Requirements
  • Credentials: Bachelorโ€™s degree in Hydrogeology, Engineering, or a closely related geosciences field is required; a Masterโ€™s Degree is highly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years conducting advanced hydrogeological investigations, including at least 5 years of handsโ€‘on field characterization experience.
  • Software/Tools: Demonstrated expertise utilizing advanced groundwater modeling software, numerical analysis tools, and computerized aquifer testing platforms.
  • Technical Standards: Proven mastery coordinating field programs, including hydrophysical profiling, aquifer testing, feasibility studies, and alternatives analyses within deep bedrock environments.
  • Core Competencies: Exceptional project leadership capabilities, strong budgetary acumen, and a proven track record managing regulatory and contractual commitments for complex consulting projects.
