Position Summary
This role is primarily responsible for running a Hydro Vac truck, working in a safe manner and assisting the entire crew to ensure projects are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
*We're hiring crews to report directly to our Glendale and Beaver Dam yard locations.
Job Responsibilities
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures and OSHA safety standard
  • Demonstrate willingness for continuous self-improvement
  • Assist Foreman in ensuring jobs are brought in on time
  • Notify foreman of unanticipated field changes & suggest possible alternatives
  • Document deficiencies in safety practices/equipment to foreman
  • Inspect vehicles and equipment prior to and after use, including checking fluid levels and tire pressure to ensure their safe and proper operation
  • Drive trucks and equipment to job sites
  • Perform on call duties as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience/Qualifications
  • Prior vacuum truck or trailer unit experience is preferred, including working knowledge of hand and various power tools
  • Ability to read and understand prints, maps and construction plans
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Some out-of-town travel and occasional night work may be required
  • Valid CDL (including air brake with tanker endorsement) is required, along with a DOT medical card
  • Must maintain a good driver's record and be insurable
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to lift/move up to 75lbs occasionally
