What you will be doing
Summary: Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and aluminum extrusion production machines and equipment by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities:
  • Performs electrical changes to blown fuses and wire plugs.
  • Repairs electrical wiring and changes hydraulic filters.
  • Does troubleshooting on mechanical devices such as presses and draw benches.
  • Performs all lockout / tag out procedures according to company policy.
  • Examines parts for imperfections.
  • Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
  • Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
  • Repairs and replaces defective parts. Lubricates and cleans parts.
  • Participates and is fully engaged in continuous reliability improvement of all equipment and processes.

What will make you successful?
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure that shows measurements in feet and inches. (required)
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent. (preferred)
  • Industrial manufacturing maintenance experience. (preferred)
