Manufacturing Engineer Supervisor/ Team Leader for Hydro-Gear's Huntingdon TN plant

Responsibilities: The Manufacturing Engineer Team Leader / Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the development and support of all staff and processes in the department to ensure maximum availability of the equipment to meet production needs while ensuring all administrative procedures are followed. In this role, you will provide technical guidance and coaching in a safe, clean, climate-controlled environment that will enable you to perform at your best.

Job Type: Full-Time located in Huntingdon TN, our newest plant!

Core Responsibilities of our Manufacturing Engineer Team Leader / Supervisor:

  • Role reports to Plant Manager
  • Ensure staff levels are to plan, properly trained, and evaluated to meet the department needs
  • Supervise and set expectations and priorities for the manufacturing engineers, process technicians, and TPM groups
  • Coordinate activities to ensure safe, proper and timely support to meet production and quality demands and product development projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional peers and leaders to deliver projects
  • Participates in the implementation of large capital projects and equipment procurement

Qualifications for Manufacturing Engineer Team Leader / Supervisor:

  • Bachelor degree (B.S.) or equivalent four-year college or technical school and/or 6 or more year's related experience and /or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in a supervisory or leadership role (i.e., Engineering Manager, Engineering Superintendent, Engineering Supervisor)
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Ability to build, inspire, motivate and mentor employees
  • Experience with CAD, NX Design Software, Excel, Word
