Riverstone is seeking a motivated, career, and customer-oriented Software Engineer Level 1 to join our team at Columbia, MD. This is Hybrid position.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to a fast-paced development environment focused on delivering tools that help users turn complex data into actionable intelligence. The project centers on
  • Build, improve, and maintain features within content presentation tools that enable users to effectively view and interact with data.
  • Design and develop new software, enhance existing systems, and troubleshoot defects as part of a collaborative team of UI and backend developers.
  • Work within a priority-driven team focused on making data more accessible and useful, incorporating direct user feedback to guide ongoing enhancements.
  • Develop parsers and display solutions that transform raw data into meaningful, structured views used by analysts in a safe and secure environment.
  • Support the development of intuitive, secure tools that allow users to engage with enriched data more effectively. You will also play a role in advancing parsing and display capabilities that convert complex data into insights that inform analysis and decision-making.

Required Skills:
  • 7 years of experience with a bachelor's degree in computer science (or related field) or 11 years without the degree
  • Experience using Java, JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, and HTML

Desired Skills:
  • Material UI, React, Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, Gitlab Pipelines

Security Clearance Requirement: Current/Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.
The projected compensation range for this position is $165,000.00-$185,000.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories
