Authority HVAC provides HVAC/R services to retail chains and other multi-site operators.

Commercial HVAC and light refrigeration experience are required for this position. The principal purpose of the job is resolving issues related to inconsistent HVAC and refrigeration system performance, modifications, failure and any other undesirable environmental elements. Equipment exposure includes but not limited to heating, air conditioning, medium- and low-temperature refrigeration, and ventilation systems.

Requirements:

Responding to Customer Service Requests (service calls)

Performing routine maintenance on customer equipment

Diagnose and repair issues related to system performance or failure

Installation of new HVAC/R equipment

On-call for one week, every 2-4 weeks as required (Frequency varies based on location)

Utilization of company web-based software system to capture client signatures and close out service requests

Communicating with the Service Coordinator on a daily basis

Maintaining current vehicle inventory, cleanliness, and maintenance

Participate in meetings and training

Must be able to lift at least 70 lbs. and must be willing and able to climb ladders

Must have 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience

Must have 2+ years of light commercial refrigeration experience (walk-ins, ice machines, reach-ins)

Must be able to successfully complete a criminal background check, drug test, and driverโ€™s license check

EPA Certification Universal

Required education:

High school or equivalent

Required experience:

HVAC service: 3 years
