Commercial HVAC Installer – Execute Complex Mechanical and Refrigeration System Installations


Job Overview

The Opportunity

You will serve as a vital asset in our field operations department, executing high-quality mechanical and refrigeration equipment installations. This role allows you to directly impact our project delivery by managing layout, piping, and startup procedures across diverse commercial facilities. You will have the autonomy to work independently while benefiting from the stability and support of a highly respected regional team.


How You Will Make an Impact

  • Install commercial HVAC/R equipment including rooftop units, refrigeration systems, and complex gas piping.
  • Establish proper equipment layout, wiring, structural supports, drainage systems, and initial startup procedures.
  • Adapt installation methods efficiently when unpredictable field conditions or building constraints change on site.
  • Maintain professional communication with customers to represent the company values positively on every job site.
  • Collaborate smoothly with crew foremen, service technicians, apprentices, and office personnel to complete projects.
  • Enforce strict safety procedures by keeping a clean workspace and protecting the customer's property.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Active OSHA 10 and EPA 608 industry certifications.
  • Demonstrated installation mindset with clear knowledge of commercial piping, wiring, and mechanical layouts.
  • Proven experience operating safely within active commercial spaces like restaurants, retail buildings, and warehouses.
  • Ability to work independently and solve technical mechanical problems without requiring constant supervision.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license to accommodate regional travel requirements to field project sites.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • 2 or more years of dedicated work experience specializing in commercial HVAC/R system installation.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of national accounts equipment specifications and commercial system upgrades.
