HVAC/R Installer

Location: Tulsa, OK

About the role:

As a HVAC/R Installer, you'll install, replace, and commission HVAC and refrigeration systems while maintaining Triad's standards for quality and safety. You'll work on a variety of projects--residential and light commercial--with refrigeration installs as a plus. If you're dependable, hands-on, and care about doing it right the first time, you'll thrive here.

Key responsibilities:

  • Install residential and light commercial HVAC systems (split systems, package units, furnaces, air handlers, heat pumps)
  • Install refrigeration equipment when needed (walk-ins, reach-ins, specialty systems--bonus skill)
  • Set and connect ductwork, line sets, gas piping, and electrical components
  • Ensure installs meet local codes and manufacturer specifications
  • Test, start up, and commission systems for proper performance
  • Keep job sites and company vehicles clean, organized, and professional
  • Communicate clearly with customers and internal teams
  • Complete job paperwork and documentation accurately
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years HVAC installation experience (residential and/or commercial)
  • Journeyman's License preferred (or ability to obtain)
  • EPA Certification required
  • Refrigeration installation experience is a plus
  • Valid driver's license + clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs; work in attics, crawlspaces, and rooftops
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills
  • Reliable, punctual, team-oriented, and takes pride in workmanship
