A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN APPRENTICE HVAC INSTALLER

As an Apprentice HVAC Installer, you provide significant assistance to our HVAC installation technicians. Through their mentorship, you learn new things every day. You develop a great deal of experience that helps pave your way toward becoming a professional. With guidance, you help install heating and air conditioning systems. You insulate ducts, cut and drill holes, and build platforms. You safely use a hammer and other hand tools to complete a job. You also help unload and load a truck full of supplies and equipment. In addition to learning how to properly install equipment, you are taught how to interact with customers from the best in the business. You are excited for the opportunity to build an important and stable career that makes a positive impact!


QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN APPRENTICE HVAC INSTALLER

  • Ability to provide your own tools
  • Minimum of at least 2 years of HVAC experience
  • Physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs. and perform typical tasks associated with installing heating and cooling systems
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Willing to commit to a training schedule to receive NATE certifications
  • Located in or close to Iowa City
