What you will be doing:
  • HVAC Mechanic will install heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems in new commercial construction and tenant offices
  • Complete paperwork daily, recording materials used on each job, in accurate manner.
  • Able to independently install new HVAC systems
  • Ability to wire up all basic HVAC low voltage wiring: furnace, a/c, thermostats, zone controls
  • Ability to fabricate duct fittings
  • Ability to read blueprints and lay out duct

What you need for this position:
  • 5 to 10 years of Commercial HVAC Install experience
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate, or learn to operate, all necessary tools and equipment
  • Ability to frequently lift 75 pounds and ability to lift and regularly carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Sufficient physical ability to work in awkward places and from ladders or scaffolding as required by projects
  • Physical ability to endure high and low outside temperatures
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and pass an on site drug test
  • Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver's license
