Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician and become a vital part of maintaining comfortable, efficient, and safe environments across various properties. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and servicing HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and related mechanical equipment. Your expertise will ensure optimal operation of heating and cooling systems, contributing to property maintenance excellence. Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and ventilation equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
  • Conduct routine inspections of mechanical systems to identify issues early and prevent system failures.
  • Perform service calls in the field to diagnose problems with refrigeration units, ammonia refrigeration systems, plumbing connections, and appliance repairs.
  • Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to repair electrical components and mechanical parts.
  • Read and interpret HVAC design plans, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate installation and repairs.
  • Maintain detailed service records, work logs, and reports documenting all maintenance activities performed.
  • Support property maintenance efforts by performing welding, boiler servicing, equipment repair, and general mechanical tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician with a strong background in construction or property maintenance environments.
  • Knowledge of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems including refrigeration cycles and ammonia refrigeration technology.
  • Mechanical knowledge with experience in plumbing, appliance repair, boiler operation, and equipment repair.
  • Ability to read schematics accurately and interpret HVAC design plans effectively.
  • Field service experience with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently.
  • Familiarity with welding techniques and the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers is advantageous.
  • Additional skills such as welding certification, property maintenance expertise, or mechanic experience are considered a plus.
