JCM Associates, Inc. is hiring HVAC Mechanics for full time year-round positions in commercial mechanical construction projects in the MD, VA, and DC area. JCM Associates, Inc. provides mechanical services throughout the Washington DC Metropolitan area. We take pride in every project we take on and strive to communicate and accomplish the goals each one of our clients sets out to achieve. These services include new construction, renovation and maintenance of HVAC and Plumbing systems for plan-spec, design-build and design-assist commercial and high-rise residential buildings. Key Responsibilities:Repairs, overhauls, maintains, and services industrial residential heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems and refrigeration units. Troubleshoots and locates malfunctions, diagnoses problems, and determines appropriate repairs.Adjusts, repairs, or replaces thermostats, pressure stats, relays, switches, and electrical wiring.Repairs or replaces compressors and components, electric motors, fans, belts, and pulleys.Mounts compressor and condenser units on platform or floor, using hand tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications.Fabricates, assembles and installs ductwork and chassis parts, using portable metalworking tools and welding equipment.Installs evaporator unit in chassis or in air-duct system, using hand tools.Services and repairs evaporators, condensers, and receivers.
