What is hunting video production?

Hunting video production is the process of planning, filming, and editing videos that document hunting experiences, techniques, and adventures. These productions often involve capturing footage of hunts, interviews with hunters, and coverage of the natural environment. The final videos are typically used for entertainment, education, or promotional purposes on television, social media, or streaming platforms. Professionals in this field need skills in videography, storytelling, and outdoor survival to effectively capture hunts in challenging conditions.

What are some common challenges faced by professionals in hunting video production, and how can they be addressed?

Professionals in hunting video production often encounter challenges such as unpredictable outdoor conditions, ensuring safety during shoots, and capturing high-quality footage of fast-moving wildlife. Planning and flexibility are key—scouting locations ahead of time, using weather-resistant gear, and maintaining clear communication with the hunting team can help mitigate these challenges. Additionally, collaboration with hunters and understanding animal behavior enables videographers to anticipate action, resulting in better footage while maintaining ethical and safety standards.

How to turn hunting into a career?

Turning hunting into a career involves gaining experience through hunting guides, wildlife management, or conservation roles, and developing skills in outdoor filming, editing, and storytelling. Building a portfolio of hunting videos and obtaining relevant certifications can help establish credibility and attract clients or employers in the outdoor media industry.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in hunting video production?

To thrive in Hunting Video Production, you need expertise in videography, editing, and a solid understanding of hunting practices, often supported by experience in outdoor filming or a related media degree. Familiarity with professional cameras, drones, editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, and sound equipment is typically required. Creativity, attention to detail, adaptability, and strong storytelling abilities help set standout professionals apart. These skills ensure the production of engaging, high-quality content that resonates with audiences and accurately captures the hunting experience.

Is hunting video production in high demand?

Hunting video production is a niche within the broader field of outdoor and sports videography, with demand driven by hunting enthusiasts, content creators, and media outlets. While not as widely in demand as general video production, specialized skills in wildlife filming, editing, and knowledge of hunting can lead to opportunities, especially with the growth of outdoor content on social media platforms.

Account Executive [Conversions, Marketing Cloud, OMS]

Redo

Draper, UT

Full-time

Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, PTO

Job description

About Redo

At Redo, we're building the operating system for modern e-commerce. Our platform helps merchants streamline their order management, optimize checkout conversion, and recover lost revenue, all in one place. We thrive when our merchants thrive, which means our success is directly tied to theirs.

Based in Draper, Utah, we're growing fast and looking for competitive, hungry operators ready to help us build the sales engine from the ground up.

Position Overview

We're hiring Founding Account Executives to own the full sales cycle across our entire merchant universe. As a founding seller, you won't be handed a narrow segment or a polished playbook. You'll hunt wherever the opportunity is, from high-velocity SMB deals to larger, more strategic merchants where the upside justifies the work. You'll help shape how Redo sells, what works, and what we double down on.

This is a builder's seat. We want someone who can prospect, educate, close, and bring back the signal that makes the next AE we hire even better.

What You'll Do

  • Own a pipeline. Prospect and generate leads across the full range of e-commerce merchants through outbound, inbound follow-up, partner referrals, and any channel you can make work

  • Hunt across segments. Run high-velocity SMB cycles when that's the right shot, and work larger, more complex deals when the merchant warrants it. You decide where to spend your time

  • Become a product expert. Deeply understand Redo's OMS, Checkout Optimization, and Recovery products and speak to them fluently in merchant conversations

  • Run the full cycle. Lead discovery calls, product demos, negotiations, and closes

  • Educate merchants. Help them understand how Redo reduces operational overhead, lifts conversion, and recaptures lost revenue

  • Hit your number. Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly quota

  • Build the playbook. Maintain clean CRM hygiene and share what you're learning so it sharpens the GTM motion for every AE who comes after you

What We're Looking For

  • A track record of being the best at what you do, whether that's quota attainment, athletic competition, academic achievement, or building something from scratch

  • Full-cycle sales experience, or a comparable background where you had to create your own pipeline and close (D2D, founder-led sales, recruiting, etc.)

  • Comfort moving between deal sizes and sales motions. You can run a fast SMB cycle and a more deliberate mid-market conversation in the same week

  • Strong discovery instincts. You ask the questions that surface the real problem, fast

  • High agency. You don't wait for marketing to feed you leads or a manager to tell you what to do

  • AI fluency. You already use modern AI tools as part of how you sell, not as a side experiment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Comfort with ambiguity and a real appetite for building inside a fast-moving startup

Nice to Have

  • Experience selling into e-commerce, retail tech, or merchant tools

  • Familiarity with Shopify or similar platforms

  • Prior experience as an early hire at a startup, or as a founder yourself

  • A background in competitive athletics or running your own business

Benefits Perks

  • Medical coverage starting at $20/mo, plus dental, vision, and $50K life insurance (company-paid, auto-enrolled)

  • Redo contributes up to $2,400/year directly into your HSA

  • Up to 12 weeks fully paid parental leave for birthing parents; 4 weeks for non-birthing parents

  • $100/month childcare reimbursement

  • Flexible PTO 7 company holidays

  • 400K Club. Hit your number and earn a luxury weekend getaway for two (Vegas, Park City, or California)

  • On-site gym with 24/7 access, pickleball, basketball, sauna + cold plunge

  • Free dinner Mon–Thu, Friday lunch, and a fully stocked break room

  • $100/month to spend with Redo merchants, plus monthly on-site perks (massages, barber, food trucks, and more)

Redo is an equal opportunity employer. We're committed to building a diverse and inclusive team.

We use one-way video interviews as part of our hiring process. If you move forward, you'll be asked to record a short video — this helps us fairly and efficiently engage with every candidate
