Shift: ย Monday/ Wednesday/ Saturday: 7:15AM - 3:45PM & Tuesday/ Thursday:8:00AM - 4:30PMย

SUMMARY: ย 

The Hunger Relief Specialist will be under the direction of the Program Coordinator and will assist with daily operations of all programs. Work hours include Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday from 7:15am to 3:45pm at Loaves and Fishes; and Tuesday and Thursday from 8am to 4:30pm at the Catholic Pastoral Center, Casa Azafran FRC, or McGruder FRC.ย 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:ย 

  • Cleans and assists maintaining the Loaves and Fishes building, including but not limited to kitchen, dining hall, and bathrooms.ย 
  • Regularly assists in supervising volunteer groups of all ages in multiple settings and programs.ย 
  • Communicates and regularly updates multiple community partners/agencies to best assist guests and clients.ย 
  • Maintains food pantry organization.ย 
  • Assists with Open Shop at Second Harvest.ย 
  • Data entry.ย 
  • Assists with managing volunteer calendars.ย 
  • Assists with inventory of supplies.ย ย 
  • Assists with loading and unloading supplies, with the ability to lift 35 pounds.ย 
  • Able to coordinate the program without direction in the event the Program Coordinator is out.ย 
  • Maintains accurate client/program records regarding services provided according to Agency guidelines, using the database(s) provided by the agency and within Agency timeframe.ย 
  • Actively participates in supervision sessions, periodic team meetings, and training as needed.ย 
  • Performs other duties as assigned.ย
