The city is known as the "Hummingbird Capital of the U.S." and provides excellent access to outdoor recreation including hiking trails and national conservation areas.
Facility:
This 100-bed medical center is part of a nationally recognized healthcare delivery network committed to making communities healthier. The facility features 4 operating rooms, 2 GI procedure rooms, and an on-campus Outpatient Surgery Center with 4 additional operating rooms, plus an Advanced Wound Care Center with hyperbaric oxygen chambers.
Opportunity:
General Surgery - Physician Assistant
Job Details:
• Join an established group of General Surgeons in a hospital affiliated practice
• Perform variety of bread-and-butter general surgery procedures and GI procedures
• Work in the Advanced Wound Care Center on campus with hyperbaric oxygen chambers
• Level 3 trauma center environment
• Prior surgical experience preferred but not required
• General call rotation 10 days per month
• Access to 4 operating rooms and 2 GI procedure rooms in main facility
• Additional 4 operating rooms available in on-campus Outpatient Surgery Center
• Located 75 miles from Tucson and 190 miles from Phoenix for big-city access
• Close proximity to University of Arizona Sierra Vista Campus and Cochise College
