Job description

The Receptionist is responsible for the front desk operations of a healthcare facility. Your role will involve greeting patients, scheduling appointments, handling inquiries, and maintaining patient records.

As a Receptionist you will perform clinical tasks such as:

  • You will greet patients and visitors warmly, in person and over the phone

  • You will schedule and confirm patient appointments

  • You will maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy.

  • You will update patient accounts and collect copays when needed.

  • You will handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and provide general information.

  • You will keep the reception area clean, stocked, and organized.

  • You will help with supply orders, inventory management, and courier coordination.

Required Qualifications

  • One year or more of healthcare, customer service or call center experience.

  • Experience handling multiple phone lines and high call volume.

  • Value-based care model experience

  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology

  • Experience working in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).

Other Qualifications:

  • Value-based care model experience

  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology

  • Experience with EMR Systems (Electronic Medical Records)

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish

Work Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 to 5:00

Location: Onsite at CenterWell Senior Primary Care office

This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
