Job description

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced System Engineer to lead safety engineering activities for complex hardware and software-based systems. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with customer, contractual, and regulatory safety requirements through hazard analysis, safety architecture development, risk mitigation, and requirements traceability. The ideal candidate will have expertise in system safety standards, model-based systems engineering (MBSE), and safety-critical system development. Key Responsibilities Assess customer and program safety requirements and evaluate system compliance.
Support the development of system and software architectures with a focus on safety and risk mitigation.
Perform system safety analyses and provide recommendations for design improvements and corrective actions.
Develop and maintain safety documentation, reports, and customer deliverables.
Collaborate with Systems Engineering teams on system specifications and safety requirements development.
Manage safety requirements throughout the lifecycle, including definition, allocation, traceability, verification, and validation.
Maintain end-to-end traceability of hazards and mitigation strategies across assigned systems.
Develop and manage hazard logs, risk registers, human-machine interface safety data, and related safety artifacts.
