Marketing and Web Coordinator: Auxiliary Services - State University College at Oswego, Inc. (Oswego, NY) seeks a Marketing and Web Coordinator to assist with development/implementation of creative strategies focused on provided services and student retention. Utilize social media, video, web, print, special events, admission/orientation activities to promote services. Work with divisional staff members and campus partners to promote benefits of services provided, identify assessment and market research strategies to analyze student needs/communication trends, develop marketing initiatives to address assessment findings. Assist with the development/implementation marketing/communications plan dedicated to internal/external marketing of on-campus dining/course materials/other svcs, incl. promotions targeting benefits of staying on meal plan. Collaborate w/Marketing team to create campaigns based on changing student demographics, Enrollment Management projections, dept. strategic plan, overall interests of Div. of Student Affairs & SUNY Oswego. Collaborate w/Res. Life & Housing. Collaborate w/Digital Svcs staff to apply HCI & usability principles in designing & maintaining dept.'s website, focusing on intuitive navigation, user engagement, & enhancing the digital experience for students & families. Partner w/graphic designers in Design & Print Svcs to produce print & digital marketing content. Independently evaluate overall content & organization to present recommendations for improvements to website content to engage & inform students & families. Respond to student inquiries on social media channels. Assist with development & coordination of marketing initiatives & events incl. Admissions, Opening Week & orientation events. Assist with presentations to parents/students on meal plans, etc. at Admissions & New Student Orientation events. Develop presentation talking points & slides for such events. Work w/deadlines & metrics that assess effectiveness of outreached measures & adjust efforts as needed. Assist News & Media team to implement social media marketing/communication strategies & provide customer support. Create/post ads for residence hall info. digital displays. Assist with analysis of marketing/communications plans incl. website & social media analytics. Identify trends in engagement & high & low-performing content and recommend strategies to increase engagement w/students & parents. Assist in coordination & execution of programs sponsored by Auxiliary Services or the Division of Student Affairs.

Requirements: Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction, Marketing, or related field. 3 months of relevant experience in a professional office setting; excellent communication and organizational skills; the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and to work effectively with diverse constituencies and across administrative lines; experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Google products, editing videos, and other marketing software; experience utilizing social media tools including applications and analytics in a business setting; commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion; and knowledge of HTML and CSS for website maintenance.
