SUMMARY
The Senior Manager, UX & Digital Design is responsible for defining and leading the user experience strategy for Kids2's global digital ecosystem. This role champions user-centered design across brand websites, digital campaigns, and future consumer experiences, ensuring every interaction is intuitive, engaging, accessible, and aligned with business objectives.
As the organization's UX leader, this individual translates consumer insights and business goals into seamless digital experiences that strengthen our brands and support Kids2's growing direct-to-consumer strategy. Working closely with Marketing, eCommerce, IT, and Development, the Senior Manager establishes UX best practices, information architecture, and design standards while leading the execution of digital experiences through the Senior Digital Designer.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
UX Strategy & Experience Leadership
  • Define and lead the UX vision, strategy, and design standards across Kids2's digital ecosystem.
  • Develop user journeys, customer flows, information architecture, wireframes, and interactive prototypes for websites and digital experiences.
  • Champion user-centered design principles through research, usability testing, analytics, and continuous optimization.
  • Identify opportunities to improve usability, accessibility, engagement, and conversion across digital platforms.
  • Establish UX governance, best practices, and scalable design systems.

Digital Experience
  • Lead the UX strategy for new websites, landing pages, campaign experiences, and future digital initiatives.
  • Partner with Brand Marketing, eCommerce, and Development to translate business objectives into intuitive digital experiences.
  • Ensure responsive, accessible, and mobile-first experiences that meet both customer and business needs.
  • Review and approve digital design solutions to ensure alignment with UX standards and brand guidelines.

Team Leadership
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Senior Digital Designer.
  • Provide strategic direction, creative feedback, workload prioritization, and professional development.
  • Foster a collaborative environment focused on innovation, continuous improvement, and design excellence.

Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product Marketing, Consumer Insights, IT, Development, and eCommerce teams throughout project planning and execution.
  • Present UX recommendations and customer insights to leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Balance user needs, business objectives, technical feasibility, and project timelines.

Innovation & Optimization
  • Stay current on UX methodologies, accessibility standards, AI-powered design tools, and emerging digital technologies.
  • Recommend new capabilities and enhancements that elevate the customer experience and support Kids2's digital transformation.
  • Leverage analytics, heat maps, user testing, and consumer feedback to continuously improve digital performance.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Design, Graphic Design, Interactive Media, or related field.

Experience
  • 7-10 years of experience in UX, product design, digital experience, or interactive design.
  • 3+ years leading UX initiatives for enterprise websites or digital products.
  • Experience managing or mentoring creative professionals.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating UX strategy, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, and digital experience design.
  • Experience collaborating with developers and cross-functional business teams.
  • Consumer products, retail, or eCommerce experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Expert knowledge of UX research, interaction design, information architecture, and customer journey mapping.
  • Strong understanding of usability testing and accessibility (WCAG) standards.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
