We currently have an opportunity for a Personal Insurance Quoter to join our Client Advisory Team team in our East Longmeadow, MA office on a Hybrid work schedule.

Overview:

Under the direction of Department Manager, is responsible for reviewing and entering underwriting data into insurance company websites, data entry into agency management systems and preparing proposals in accordance with the practices, policies and procedures of the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with pre-underwriting information gathering and proposal presentations as needed.
  • Gather data online for insurance submissions.
  • Provide online portal quoting support.
  • Set up new client shells, policy shells, and enter all policy data into agency management system.
  • Compile and scan the new business marketing files into agency management system.
  • Invoice new business in agency management system, if applicable.
  • Mail Lost Policy Release forms with a client specific cover letter.
  • Finalize new business/rewrite proposal procedures.
  • Apply new business deposit payments.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by Manager.
  • Conducts business in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of both the business and earnings implications of the Company.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by Manager/Team Leader.

Qualifications:

Experience with personal lines insurance

Thorough knowledge of personal lines coverages and markets

Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Ability to pay attention to detail.

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

The expected salary range for this position is $28.21 an hour to $33.33 an hour and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level.
