PharMerica, a part of Brightspring Health Services, is a longterm care pharmacy services provider that supplies medications, clinical support, and pharmacy management to healthcare organizations across the United States.

The Clinical HUB Supervisor is responsible for ensuring proper support and monitoring of all Clinical Hub Staff, workflows, and escalation needs for our billing department.

Remote opportunity

Schedule Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm Central Time Zone

Requirements include a minimum of an Associates Degree, and 4+ years of experience in pharmacy or medical billing, with an emphasis in prior authorizations.

  • Supervises Representatives and manages their performance in accordance with departmental and company policy.
  • Scores side-by-sides and recorded calls and discusses feedback with Representatives.
  • Participates in call calibration sessions.
  • Walks the floor to observe and provide information and feedback.
  • Handles escalated calls with Representatives listening.
  • Partners with other business units such as Pharmacy, Customer Service, Account Management, to ensure delivery of quality and timely customer service.
  • Coordinates team schedules to maximize operational efficiencies.
  • Monitors volumes for the pend queue, RX Allow, fax to PDP, groups, to ensure timely processing of all forms relating to prior authorizations and consults with Manager/Director.
  • Reviews call analysis with Manager & Director.
  • Partners with Account Management, Manager, and Director to address customer needs and escalations.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned.

Education/Learning Experience:

  • Required:  Associate degree.
  • Desired:  Bachelor’s Degree.

Work Experience:

  • Required:  Four plus years of experience in pharmacy or medical billing, with an emphasis in prior authorizations.
