Job Summary:
IDS International is dedicated to resolving conflict through innovative solutions for government, military, nonprofit, and public-sector clients. They are seeking a Senior‑Level User Experience Designer to support UX design and front-end development for Agentic Knowledge Management Systems, conducting user research and developing front-end solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Write and maintain front‑end code to implement UX designs
• Design and conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement
• Develop front‑end components using modern web technologies
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate front‑end code with existing backend services
• Ensure front‑end implementations meet performance, accessibility, and cross‑browser compatibility requirements
• Develop and maintain UX documentation including design guidelines, style guides, technical plans, milestones, and user guides
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree with eight (8) years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with six (6) years, or Doctoral degree with four (4) years
• Alternatively, Associate’s degree with ten (10) years of relevant experience, or high school diploma/GED with twelve (12) years of relevant experience
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience with modern front‑end frameworks including React and Vue.js
