An HTML CSS Developer is responsible for creating and styling the visual elements of websites and web applications using HTML (HyperText Markup Language) and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). They structure web content with HTML and design its appearance with CSS, ensuring that websites are visually appealing and responsive across different devices. In addition, they often collaborate with designers and other developers to implement interactive and user-friendly interfaces. Their work is fundamental to building modern, accessible, and high-performing websites.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an HTML CSS developer, and why are they important?

To thrive as an HTML CSS Developer, a solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design principles, and web accessibility standards is essential, often supported by a relevant degree or coding bootcamp experience. Familiarity with version control systems like Git, code editors such as VS Code, and frameworks like Bootstrap is typically expected.
