Job Title: Warehouse Lead

Department: Commercial Warehouse Direct

Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor

Overview:

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily warehouse activities within the Commercial Warehouse Direct department. This position ensures efficient handling, storage, and warehouse of goods while maintaining high service levels. The role requires a solid logistics and warehouse background and leadership skills to manage the warehouse team effectively. The Warehouse Lead is crucial in ensuring that products reach customers accurately and on time, contributing to the company's overall operational success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, inventory control, and shipping.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers in compliance with company standards.
  • Develop and implement warehouse strategies to improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage relationships with carriers, suppliers, and third-party logistics partners.
  • Monitor and report on key warehouse metrics such as order accuracy, on-time delivery, and inventory levels.
  • Identify and resolve any issues related to warehouse, transportation, or customer deliveries.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Sales and Customer Service, to align warehouse processes with business goals.
  • Maintain compliance with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and internal policies.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise the warehouse team to enhance performance and productivity.
