Job description

The Assistant Property Manager supports the efficient management of a multi-family property portfolio of 6-10 properties, working closely with the Property Manager and Owner/Investor. This role involves tenant relations, property maintenance oversight, and compliance monitoring, with occasional on-call responsibilities. There is a clear path for career advancement within the property management team.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain positive tenant relations and address tenant concerns promptly
  • Coordinate property maintenance and repairs to uphold property standards
  • Monitor compliance with relevant regulations
  • Coordinate removal of violations from HPD, DOB and ECB
  • Support the Property Manager and Owner/Investor with daily operational tasks

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in property management

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Familiarity with property management software
  • Strong customer service skills
