, Responsibilities

Position Overview
The successful candidate will fabricate and assembly sheet metal products by precisely measuring, cutting, shaping and joining metal sheets by using specialized machinery and hand tools. 1st shift, 7am - 3:30pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setup and operation on bending and sheet metal forming equipment (expanders, hydraulic forming presses, band saws, light/heavy deburring)

  • Press Brake Set up and operation

  • Setup and Operate Shear

  • Work to daily priorities, adhering to manufacturing schedules

  • Set up press fixtures

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints and work instructions

  • Hand fabrication

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • 3+ years of Aerospace sheet metal experience

  • Deburr experience (use of abrasive and finishing buffing wheels)

  • Ability to use calipers, micrometers, indicators, tape measures, pie tapes, go - no go gages.

  • Use of band saws including cut to scribe templet lines.

  • Blueprint reading experience

  • Strong math and problem solving

  • Attention to detail
