Job description

What You'll Do
This position is responsible for:
  • Developing and maintaining the Fleet master margin file to establish the forecasted margins at trim level, by channels and model years
  • Creating a monthly split of forecasted supply chain volumes by Fleet channel
  • Evaluating customer incentive proposals
  • Working alongside the Control Tower & Data Analytics teams to create/update Fleet dashboards & analytical tools
  • Serving as the Fleet point of contact with Brand Finance and the Product Cost Study (PCS) team for margin strip and standard cost updates
  • Supporting the monthly profit & loss and cash flow forecasts
  • Monitoring internal control procedures to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley
  • Providing internal/external audit support as needed
  • Managing significant interaction with Fleet Operations, IT, Audit, Internal Controls and Corporate Accounting
  • Developing Ad-Hoc & special projects as requested

What You'll Learn
  • How to prepare a budget, forecast and to document and explain variances
  • How to use Finance systems such as PentaSAP, OneStream, Essbase and ART&MIS
  • An understanding of the broader Fleet business & organization
  • Program Management and Process Improvement skills
  • How to work with Finance and Operational regional counterparts while practicing Financial management

What This Role Will Prepare You For
  • Future opportunities in positions' that require budgeting, forecasting & financial control experience
  • Critical thinking, and how to look for alternative conclusions/solutions
  • Cross-functional knowledge and process improvement skills that can be applied throughout the Finance organization
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Operating teams within North America to share knowledge and gain consensus

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or related degree
  • 8+ years of work experience Finance or Accounting (or minimum 7 yrs w/ MBA or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance)
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft tools such as: Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Essbase
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of personnel and strong leadership skills
  • Familiarity with Financial Systems and reporting tools such as: SAP, OneStream, Qlikview and Power BI

Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Proven oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Ability to multitask and adapt easily to change, including prioritization of assignments
  • Ability to work with large volumes of data, summarize data and draw conclusions
  • Strong understanding of P&L drivers, Gross Commercial Result, vehicle margins and month-end close fundamentals (accruals, reserves, variance analysis)
