Job description

Ark Healthcare and Rehabilitation at Branford Hills, a shoreline leaders in skilled nursing and rehabilitative care, is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant, to join our team.

As a member of our Housekeeping team you will enjoy the benefits of working in a quaint, home-like environment while working along side a team with of professionals whose experience spans over decades.

The Housekeeping Assistant responsibilities include:

  • Cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, hallways, and bathrooms.  
  • Vacuuming, dusting, 
  • Emptying waste baskets
  • Sweeping and mopping floors
  • Total room cleans upon resident discharge
  • Laundry duties as assigned 
  • Distribution of linens and personal resident clothing upon receipt

The Housekeeping Assistant will have an understanding of the use of chemicals follow federal, state, and local guidelines in there usage.  The Housekeeping Assistant will have previous experience in healthcare, hospital, hospitality environment, or a willingness to learn on the job.  The Housekeeping Assistant will understand how to work within a team system and maintain open communication with the Director of Maintanance and Housekeeping and other member of facility Administration.
