Job description

Work Schedule:

Shifts and schedules available for part and full time day, evening and night shift. These positions include a shift/weekend differential. If selected for an interview, we will discuss your shift preferences at that time. These positions are located at either the American Family Children's Hospital, East Madison Hospital, or University
Hospital. These positions require a holiday rotation working four holidays per year, which is paid at time and a half. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking an Environmental Services Technician (Housekeeping/Janitor) to:

  • Perform general housekeeping and custodian responsibilities.
  • Clean and disinfect facilities, using proper procedures and equipment.
  • Aid in the prevention of diseases by sanitizing patient and public areas.
  • Follow hospital procedures to dispose of contaminated items.
  • Work independently as a Housekeeper under general supervisor.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent education Preferred
Work Experience
  • Previous cleaning and/or customer service experience Preferred
  • At least six (6) months of continuous employment with a single employer Preferred
