Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeepers in a Behavioral Health setting to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation. This role is essential in ensuring a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all occupants and visitors.
This is a Mental Health Facility. Must be comfortable in this kind of environment!
Wage:
$19/hr. + $250 Sign-On Bonus after 4 months of employment
Shift: Friday-Sunday
Part-Time hours:
9:00AM-5:30PM (24hrs/wk) or
12:00PM-5:00PM (20hrs/wk)
Maintain a clean and sanitary environment for all areas of the hospital, including public spaces, offices, and patient rooms:
  • Handle biohazard materials and bodily fluid
  • Isolation precautions for various infections
  • Maintain the cleanliness of closets and storage areas
  • Respond to cleaning requests via handheld radios and pagers
  • Perform other janitorial duties as required

Physical and Other Requirements
  • Must get TB skin test and take drug screen
  • Lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
  • Stand/walk for the entirety of the shift
  • Bend/kneel/crouch/climb
  • Professional and well-groomed appearance
  • Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
