) Housekeeping Aide
The Grand Pavilion for Rehab & Nursing at Rockville Centre is seeking for a qualified, hard-working and customer service driven Housekeeping Aide to join their team.
Housekeeping Aide Job Description:
Provide a clean and safe environment for our residents, visitors, and staff in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and Quality Center standards. Perform day to day enviromental services such as dusting, mopping, floor care, room cleaninng and general disinfection. Must be flexible, detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task.
Housekeeping Aide Duties Include but are not limited to:
Maintain resident rooms, dining rooms, offices and all general areas of facility by cleaning restrooms, walls, baseboards, doors, mirrors, dusting, removing trash, sweeping, mopping, wiping down tables and furniture while making sure to follow all proper cleaning techniques and protocols.
Housekeeping Aide Requirements/Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Reliable transportation
  • Experience in LTC preferred but not required
  • Positive attitude and team mentality
  • Must be able to read/write/speak English
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Prior experience in custodial field, preferably in a healthcare facility.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Shift: PerDiem
Rate: Up to $22.00 an hour
