The industry is rapidly growing and evolving as viewers are shifting from traditional TV viewing to streaming video and publishers are increasingly adding video content to their online experiences. Amazon's video advertising program is a rising competitor in this industry. Amazon's service has differentiated assets in our customer & audience insights, exclusive video content, and associated inventory that position us well as an end to end service for advertisers and agencies. We are innovating at the intersection of advertising, e-commerce, and entertainment.
Amazon Publisher Monetization (APM) is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to define program strategies and deliver delightful solutions in video advertising to our advertisers. You will drive simple and elegant advertiser and publisher facing features with complex data systems behind them. You will manage implementation of multiple projects ensuring product strategy goals and requirements are delivered with quality.
As Sr TPM, you will interact with product managers, software development managers, developers, and senior leaders across partner teams in the ads organization to deliver complex projects and programs. You will define roadmap deliverables, develop program execution plans, track progress, anticipate risks, provide escalation management, make sound trade off decisions, and balance business needs versus technical constraints.

The successful candidate has technical skills to devise solutions, design, build, and deliver it. You are expected to be detail oriented, with strong technical background and excellent problem solving skills. You develop a deep understanding of product design and implementation details to effectively represent engineering teams to senior leadership and customers. Your expertise in operational excellence enables teams to deliver robust solutions in highly reliable, low latency systems. You possess strong verbal and written communication skills, are self-driven and deliver high quality results in a fast paced environment. You really enjoy working closely with talented teams. You obsess over customers and have a passion for advertising.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design
- Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
