Job Description

We need security officers for July 4th and potential additional days for Fleet week in NJ (Possibility to work extended days)

July 2nd-July 9th 2026

10-12 hour shifts

$30/hour- This is the holiday pay rate

Security Officer Job Responsibilities:

Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property and access points.

Investigates & reports security breaches, incidents, and other alarming or suspicious activity to the shift supervisor.

Enforces all rules and regulations required to ensure a safe environment.

Conduct crowd management to ensure orderly ingress and egress.

Provide assistance and support to guests as needed.

Collaborate effectively with other security team members and event staff.

Respond promptly and appropriately to any security incidents or emergencies.

Maintains the organizationโ€™s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements

Security Officer Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum of 2+ years security experience required.

Ability to work in high pedestrian traffic environments.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Shift durations are generally 14-16 hours, with occasional longer shifts depending on event.
