ob Title: Division Maintenance Tech
Job Purpose:
The Division Maintenance Tech is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall condition of assigned store locations, primarily focusing on food service areas. This role supports store operations by ensuring kitchens and retail areas meet company standards for safety, cleanliness, and customer experience, while also assisting with general maintenance needs across the division.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
General Operations
• Completes assigned store visits as directed by the Division Manager in partnership with Food Service and RVP
• Performs all duties in alignment with company policies and standards
• Provides prompt and courteous support to store teams and customers
• Communicates effectively with Division Manager and store leadership
• Submits daily visit recaps, including photos of completed work
• Supports home store operations when not assigned to division projects
Food Service Cleaning & Sanitation
• Cleans and sanitizes kitchens after closing, including ovens, fryers, walls, floors, stainless steel surfaces, and prep tables
• Ensures all food service areas meet company cleanliness and food safety standards
• Removes grease, debris, and buildup from equipment and surfaces
• Follows all sanitation procedures and safe chemical usage guidelines
Maintenance
• Performs basic maintenance of food service equipment and kitchen areas
• Assists with retail floor care and general store cleanliness
• Performs minor repairs as needed or reports issues requiring additional support
• Assists with fuel pump area cleanliness and upkeep as a secondary responsibility
Safety
• Adheres to all company safety policies and procedures
• Uses proper personal protective equipment when required
• Ensures safe handling of cleaning tools, chemicals, and equipment
• Reports any hazards, accidents, or safety concerns promptly
Administrative Responsibilities
• Accurately records all time worked and job assignments
• Submits timesheets for Division Manager review and approval
• Maintains company-issued communication tools, including email access
• Uses a mobile device to document work completion and communication
Compensation & Work Conditions:
• Hourly pay based on experience
• Mileage reimbursement for travel exceeding 30 miles per day
• Labor costs allocated to stores based on hours worked
• Cell phone allowance provided; no laptop issued
• Typical work schedule includes late second shift into third shift, based on store needs and kitchen closing times
• Overtime must be approved by RVP upon Division Manager request
