What is an hourly RV technician?

Hourly RV Technicians are skilled professionals who inspect, maintain, and repair recreational vehicles (RVs) while being compensated on an hourly basis. Their duties often include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, performing routine maintenance, and installing or repairing RV systems such as plumbing, HVAC, and appliances. These technicians work in RV dealerships, repair shops, or mobile service businesses, helping RV owners keep their vehicles in optimal condition. The hourly pay structure allows for flexibility and can vary based on experience, location, and employer.

What skills and qualifications are needed to be an hourly RV technician?

To thrive as an Hourly RV Technician, you need strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems, and hands-on experience in RV maintenance, often supported by a technical diploma or certification. Familiarity with diagnostic tools, power tools, and manufacturer-specific repair software is typically required.
