Job Summary:
Omega Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer specializing in Ruby on Rails, Java, and Cloud Migration. The role involves building software and web applications, working collaboratively in a team, and developing payment processing solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Who would work on this project?
• Engineers with 3+ years of experience building software or web applications
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment, frequently in pair programming sessions
• Experience with agile development methodologies, test driven development (TDD), extracting / refactoring code into services, domain-driven design, and CI/CD
• Experience writing applications or services with Ruby on Rails and Java / Dropwizard or other Java frameworks
• Experience building microservices that are deployed on Kubernetes
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Aurora, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS)
• What experience do you have building payment processing solutions?
• Payment processor integrations, including certification
• Bank / Financial institution integrations
• Credit card network (Ex: Visa / Client) integrations
