Responsibilities

Supply Chain Financial Analyst

Massillon, OH (hybrid)

As an integral part of our Corporate Service Center team, the Supply Chain Finance Analyst will improve the efficiency of the Supply Chain through data collection and analysis. This position will have excellent attention to detail, exceptional analytical skills, and act with a sense of urgency. They will use interpersonal and problem-solving skills to gather information from different departments (on and off site) to recommend ways of improving Supply Chain financial performance and forecasting.

This position will report directly to the Senior Manager of Supply Chain Finance.

Your seat at the table

  • Prepare weekly and monthly Supply Chain reporting, accurately and timely.

  • Support monthly financial close activities including preparation of general journal entries.

  • Prepare variance explanations for current period actuals versus budget, forecast and prior year.

  • Work closely with site Supply Chain Finance owners to ensure forecasts and budgets are entered timely and accurately into the system.

  • Maintain and/or prepare financial models that support decision making, cost structure optimization and margin improvement.

  • Identify and support process improvements, including the creation of standard as well as ad-hoc reports using primarily Excel.

  • Contributing to a high-performing Finance team; you and your manager will also focus on your own personal development and the development of your peers.


Qualifications

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Mathematics.

  • Demonstrated high performance in Accounting Finance/Economics or Mathematics course work.

  • Demonstrated high performance in Systems and/or Coding courses are a plus.

  • Exposure to Microsoft Excel functions and formulas are a plus
