Job description

Job Summary: Reception and General Administrative Office Tasks. Provide administrative support for all areas of assigned department with special emphasis on primary duties as assigned by department manager. Role model and demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others.
Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Answer phones/ schedule buyer vendor appointments
  • Sort and distribute mail
  • Print out the weekly circular ad for buyers
  • Preparing checks, place in envelope to be mailed
  • Metering mail
  • Maintaining office, conference room, and lobby (set up / clean up conference room before and after meetings)
  • Staples orders (Office Supplies)
  • Replacing toners/ Monitoring toner supply
  • Supply orders from 43rd
  • Stapling check stubs to invoices
  • Filing invoices
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday from 9:00am to 2:00pm, Tues. 8:30am until 3:30pm or as needed due to vendor meetings

Education and Certification
  • Equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Working knowledge of current state laws related to fee and tax collections and associated mandatory requirements.
  • Intermediate-level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; advanced-level knowledge of Excel.
  • Knowledge of and ability to process account billing.
  • Knowledge of, and ability and willingness to apply, appropriate and applicable administrative principles and procedures, and applications to administrative functions.
  • Knowledge of rules and regulations of keeping accounting records.
  • Knowledge of business English and arithmetic.

  • May on occasion require lifting, pushing, and/or pulling (less than 20 pounds).

Starting hourly rates will be no less than the local minimum wage and will vary based on things like location, experience and qualifications. All positions are eligible for Overtime, and some positions will have guaranteed Overtime available.
Hourly Rate is local minimum + $5 range.
