Interventional Procedures Technologist Lead


Position Highlights:

Interventional Procedures Technologist Lead (Neuro)
Department: Interventional Radiology
Location: Evanston, IL
Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
Hours: Monday-Friday, Days

What you will do:

Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of Interventional Procedures Technologists, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
Foster a collaborative team environment that supports professional growth and teamwork
Perform complex interventional radiology procedures while maintaining sterile technique and patient safety
Ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients and staff
Oversee operation, maintenance, and quality control of imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and other interventional imaging systems
Coordinate equipment readiness, repairs, and preventative maintenance
Prepare patients for procedures, explain processes, and address patient concerns
Monitor patient condition and vital signs during procedures and respond appropriately to changes


What you will need:

Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology; required
Minimum of 5 years of Interventional Radiology experience and 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience; required, experience with vendors and invoicing
Current ARRT Radiography (R) and Cardiac-Interventional Technology (CV) certifications; required
Current BLS, ACLS, and Heartsaver CPR certifications through the American Heart Association; required
