Job description

cFocus Software seeks a Python (Mission) Data Scientist to join our program supporting the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). This position is on site in the Washington DC, MD, & VA area. This position requires a TS/SCI + CI Polygraph clearance.
Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI + CI Polygraph clearance
  • Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field with 4-12+ years of experience in data science
  • Proficient in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization
  • Strong programming skills in Python or R
  • Experience with .data science tools and platforms (Jupyter, pandas, scikit-learn)
  • Understanding of intelligence community data and analytical methods

Duties:
  • Applies advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and data science techniques to intelligence data.
  • Develops predictive models, conducts exploratory data analysis, and extracts actionable insights from complex datasets.
  • Utilizes statistical software and programming languages (Python, R) to analyze structured and unstructured data.
  • Collaborates with intelligence analysts and mission partners to understand analytical requirements.
  • Communicates findings through data visualizations and reports.
