We are seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations within a fast-paced food production environment. This position is responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, employee engagement, and continuous improvement while ensuring production schedules are achieved.The ideal candidate is a strong floor leader who enjoys coaching employees, solving problems in real time, and creating a culture of accountability and operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and develop hourly production employees to achieve safety, quality, and production goals.Oversee daily manufacturing activities to ensure production schedules are met while maximizing efficiency and minimizing downtime.Promote and enforce food safety, employee safety, HACCP, GMP, SSOP, and company quality standards.Monitor production performance and implement corrective actions to improve productivity, quality, waste reduction, and labor efficiency.Supervise employee performance through coaching, recognition, performance management, and progressive discipline when necessary.Conduct new hire onboarding, training, and ongoing employee development.Manage employee scheduling, attendance, overtime, and payroll approvals.Partner with Human Resources on employee relations, corrective actions, and performance improvement initiatives.Maintain accurate production, inventory, and labor records.Ensure proper inventory control of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods within the department.Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse, and other departments to quickly resolve operational issues.Foster a culture focused on continuous improvement, teamwork, and operational excellence.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.2+ years of supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment.Food manufacturing experience strongly preferred.Working knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, SSOPs, sanitation, and food safety regulations.Experience leading hourly production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing operation.Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems.Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while working under tight production deadlines.Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
