Position: Adjunct Instructor - UGPH-GU 20 Biostatistics for Public Health (Undergraduate)

This course introduces basic concepts and techniques for analyzing public health data. It is an applied course emphasizing the use, interpretation, and limits of statistical analysis. Real-world examples illustrate the course, and computer-based data analysis is integrated into it. Students will be introduced to the basic principles of statistical computing analytic software. The course will emphasize statistical theory and techniques for determining and interpreting bivariable associations and introduce multivariable techniques. The course runs from September 2nd to December 11th and meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00am to 9:15am. Compensation depends on level of experience.
Qualifications
Qualified applicants will have an advanced degree in statistics or a related field (PhD preferred). Previous experience teaching introductory statistics is preferred.
